Ketumbeine School

Ketumbeine is a very remote area of northern Tanzania in East Africa. It is populated by the Masai people, who herd cattle. The community is small and without much wealth.

Books
These students at Ketumbeine Secondary School were excited about their new books. The few books they have come from anonymous donors or various organizations.

Our Ministry

Offerings given by Sunday School students at St. John's provides education funds for two students in Africa. One student is a girl named Nang'ida (nang EEDA) Mepurda. She is a high school student in Tanzania, Africa.

Nang'ida is in her second year of high school. Her father is an evangelist, Abraham Mepurda, and she lives in Ketumbeine, Tanzania. You can see photos of her school at the links listed below.  When you do a Google search on Ketumbeine, Tanzania, you will be rewarded with interesting material on the school she attends.

This scholarship support for education is one of the ways our youth learn about mission and how to make a difference.
